Ben Latimore aka BlueMaxima is the man behind Flashpoint – a Flash game and animation preservation project that allows for the usage of more than 100,000 web apps that are no longer possible to play online after browsers dropped support for Flash.
Latimore has now released for free an e-Book, Flashpoint: A tribute to Flash games, which features an A-Z of notable games, plus quotes from prominent Flash game authors.
Games such as Canabalt, QWOP, Ridiculous Fishing and Super Meat Boy all have their origins as Flash games, and this book is a great tribute to the people that made these games.
